Number of measuring points (measuring points can be fermenters, inlets/outlets of desulphurization units, etc.)

Messstellen

The ambient air (air for flushing) is measured SEPERATELY at every device (and does not count as a measuring point).

Exhaust gas: The sample gas (about 0.5 l/min.) is normally led into the open together with the air for flushing.

Optionally, the gas can be seperated from the air.

separate hose connector for the sample gas (which is partly mixed with air)

At one or more measuring points, I would like to measure the following gases:

When measuring hydrogen sulphide concentrations the systems can also be fitted with two sensors (e. g. 0-200 und 0-5000 ppm). This would result in a higher accuracy of measurement for both the lower and the higher range.

methane

0-100 vol.-%

carbon dioxide

0-100 vol.-%

oxygen

0-25 vol.-%

hydrogen

0-2000 ppm

hydrogen suphide 1

0-1500 / 3000 / 5000 ppm

hydrogen suphide 2

0-10 / 30 / 200 ppm

Note: Please specify the exact measuring range for H2S in the section for further questions below.

Apart from gas sensors, other external sensors can be connected (e.g. 4..20 mA or temperature or humidity).

other sensors ...

... namely:

PI controller (e. g. for setting the oxygen concentration for microbiological desulphurization)

no controller

Yes. I need one or more PI controllers with digital output to pilote open a valve in order to control (synchronize) the oxygen supply for the fermenter.

I also need a compressor (in a package with valves, deflagration arrester and non-return valves) in order to automatically set the oxygen concentration.

Number of seperate points of air supply (e. g. different fermenters, which should be controlled seperately):

1    2    3

Please specify the expected high of biogas flow (in total and per fermenter) as this information is needed for setting up the desulphization unit.

Yes. I need one or more PI controllers with analogue output in order to trigger a compressor via a frequency inverter. (Note: We recommend using the digital output solution (see above) because it is cheaper and the adjustable output range is wider.)

Do you need alarm outputs (e.g. when exceeding or falling below measuring values; as a potential-free contact)?

no 1 2 3
  4 5 6

I want to be able to set the alarm limits using the display.

By default, all the old measured values are saved by the device internally. You can retrieve these values on the display. You can also print them or read them out. (If current measured values are passed on to a control system, using this option is normally not necessary.)
In addition, please allow values to be ...

transferred to, for example, a laptop via the Ethernet interface

printed out on a robust journal printer (receipt printer)

Should the latest measured values be passed on to a control system? If you select a bus system you can also retrieve other data (diagnostic data, operational modes, etc. ...).

no, the values should only be shown on the display

in addition, pass on the values via

Profibus

Ethernet

serial interface

another bus, namely:

I do not want to render the data by means of a bus but the following number (sensors x measuring points) via the electrical signal  4..20 mA (oder 0..20 mA, 0..10 V:

In order to save costs, several analogue outputs should be combined into one. Digital signals (potential-free contacts) indicate which value is being transferred at a certain time.

Thanks to its great flexibility the device can not only be used for measuring the gas composition and controlling the oxygen supply but can also be adapted for other control tasks.

Yes, I want to use the device for additional control tasks:
